Service Description

Single Treatment £60 Actinic keratoses are areas of sun-damaged skin. They usually occur on parts of the body exposed to the sun, including the forearms, back of the hands, face, ears, and any scalp areas without hair (e.g., as a result of balding). They may also occur on the lips.  Cryotherapy is a safe and effective procedure that uses extreme cold to destroy unwanted tissues. Our highly trained practitioners use the highest-grade equipment to guarantee safety and efficiency. HOW WE REMOVE AGE SPOTS WITH CRYOTHERAPY It safely breaks down the tissue cells by rapidly bringing them to a low temperature, where they form ice crystals. We use liquid nitrogen to freeze the area, as its extremely cold temperature can destroy the tag's cells. The ice crystals break down the cell's structure, allowing water to fill the surrounding area and creating a healable blister. The blister will then heal within two to six weeks, depending on the depth of the freeze. This method efficiently removes sun damage with the least amount of scarring compared to other alternative methods.
